My Mother in law just found out that she has stage 2 breast cancer, will she survive?
She is being really positive, but I am just wondering what is REALLY going on. The doctors told her that she needs to start Kemo Therapy ASAP and she will need a masectomy later followed with Radiation. Does this sound normal?

I hope that no one here tries to give you a definitive answer to this question. I especially hope that anyone pretending to know anything about medicine doesn't try. There is no answer for your question. There is only time. As in time with her treatment will tell. It's not necessarily a death sentence, some people survive things far worse, and some people don't survive far lesser things. I'm so sorry that, other than statistics which never apply personally, you don't get an answer to this question.
