PMS, Cramps!!???!?!?!?!

Question:

PMS, Cramps!!???!?!?!?

I'm 20 years old and I've been getting my period since I was 9. My cramps seem to get worse and worse (People say they should be getting better).

I see a gynecologist at least once a year ... usually two or three times (just for checkups and such...).
To help regulate my periods and decrease the effects of PMS, I have been put on birth control.

While the pill has helped considerably with the cramps and back pains..i'm still in a LOT of pain.

I know that certian foods seem to make them worse (acidy foods it seems).. what foods should I be avoiding?

I just found out that exercise, espically the week before the period, can help with the pain..

what other things can I do to prepare my body, and possibly have less painful PMS?
