Why does my birth control pills make my breast extremely tender and make me feel so sick?

I've started birth control pills to regulate my cycles. The first week I couldn't eat and was always sick to my stomach and I had a lot of breast pains (untouchable pain). Second week, sickness went away but breast pain stayed. Yesterday I had a dried flakey substance around my nipples, is this something I should go back to the doctor for or is this a normal side effect from being on the pill?

I was on a ortho trycyclin lo for about 5 months and my breast so were so so sensative that I couldnt stand to even put on my bra. you need to call your dr and tell him/her of the side affects and change the kind of pill you are on.. they are all different so maybe your dr could recommend one for you.. im on yasmin and no problems to speak of..
