Has any women used the Marina coil?

i was on the Marina coil for about a year and had some bad side affects. Just wondering if it is common or not

I had one fitted for a year and had terrible side effects. i bled for nearly the entire time i had it fitted. it does work, my mum has had one in for ages, but it wasn't for me.
