I am going away for vocation to my mothers house. I need to become CPR certified before go back to college. which is Aug 15th. i am going to try to take classes while i am visiting my mother. I was wondering how long the classes are. how many hours a day? how many days does it take?

It won't take long. Get in contact with the Red Cross or the Y near your mom's house. You might also want to take a basic first aid course at the same time, and have the two certifications. The first aid skills will probably be used more often than CPR.
