I am going to a pool party with my dad and brother on wednesday (day after tomorrow) and i have my period. Is it okaay to go swimming with a pad on? I do not wear/have tampons. What should i do?

bleeding stops when you are in the water. You may just need a pantyliner on, but if you are going to get out of the water and hang out a few hours I would recommend chanign back into clothes and put a pad on. Listen, half the world is women and women get their period, that's just life, everyone understands.
Why don't you just not go swimming this time and wear really short denim shorts and wear a pad. Say you don't feel well and just want to relax by the pool side.
