Kinda embarassing-for girls only!?!

Question:

Kinda embarassing-for girls only!?

my vagina area (outer lips) is EXTREMELY itchy and irritated, its like swollen like and makes it hard for me to even walk around without discomfort. I was just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them or knows what it might be??? Thank you

Answers:

You have nothing to be embarrassed about, being a woman is not always easy and you did not do anything wrong.

Your problem could be due to a lot of things...

(eliminate all that do not apply to you as you read along...)

You had sex a lot (lucky you then).

You had sex with someone who gave you something.

You bought new underwear and are allergic to the fabric blend or forgot to wash those before wearing or they’re too tight.

You're using panty liners (which are like putting paper or wood next to your most vulnerable body part....)

You're using a new cleaning product and are allergic to one of the many unnatural components (do you know what's in Summer's Eve stuff?)

You went horseback riding.

You went to a public pool.

You dried yourself with a towel that was used for more than 3 days without being washed.

Some of the stuff in your body went from one place to the other because of close proximity (some good stuff in your colon can migrate in your vagina, where they're not welcome there and wreak havoc).

Whatever the reason, all you want now is to find relief.

If you have an itch, you might scratch it (voluntarily or in your sleep) and make it worse. Very often, the swelling is the result of the scratching, not the itching. So, first, do not scratch and in order to do that, do not itch.
Try to use an anti-itch creme like Vagisil so you stop itching (and scratching…and swelling)

Do not wear any panty liners and wear only clean, comfortable 100% cotton underwear or even better, no underwear at all if you can pull it off.
Wash the towel you use to dry yourself every 3 days (I personally use clean color coded hand towels just to dry that sensitive area, just for that, and I use each of them only once)

If your condition does not improve after a few days, then you should consider that you’re having a yeast infection and buy the necessary remedies, then you should consult with your gynecologist who will prescribe what you need.

Always make sure you see your gynecologist once a year…and your dentist twice a year.
