What decides if a period is going to be heavy or light?
i'm 17 and i dont get that part. i know about the baby stuff and what the period is doing but i dont get what makes it heavy sometimes and other times light
Answers:
Hormones. They are different in everybody. If you are having irregular or heavy periods consider getting on the pill. It will regulate your period, they will be lighter, less or no cramping and you will know when you will be having your period. Talk to your Dr or if you want confidentiality, go to your local Teen Clinic or Health Dept (most of the time it is free there too and they do your yearly physicals and paps and STD checks). AND they are confidential. Hormones..............UGH!
