How long before the side effects of the Nuva Ring kick in?
I just started the Nuva Ring on Saturday and I woke up this morning feeling bloated and gross. Is this related to the Nuva Ring or is it to early for me to be feeling side effects? Also, for Nuva Ring users, how long until the side effects went away?

I have used Nuva Ring for about 6 months now, but I use it to regulate and lessen my very heavy periods. I guess I was already feeling bloated and gross, because I feel wonderful using it, the only side effect I seem to notice is or has been some very light breakthrough bleeding which is normal. I'd say to give your body at least 2 - 3 months to get used to the hormones. Good Luck!
