Fearful about doctor's evaluation to birth control. help?
Well me and my friend are planning on going to Planned Parenthood to get birth control and I was wondering how is the evaluation there. We aren't getting the whole check up just a consultation. Does anyone know what they are going to ask us or tell us. Note I'm not getting birth control for sex just for heavy periods and really bad cramps and incase I do plan to have sex that I'm preparded.

they'll ask general medical history, do a height, weight, blood pressure check. deffinately a pregnancy test. it's been a long time since i went, but i'm pretty sure they'll do a pap smear if you haven't had one in the last year. and you'll have to go in a few months later to have your blood pressure rechecked.
