Anyone have PMDD, and on yaz?

I finally decided to talk to someone about my struggles with my severe PMS. A nurse told me I could have PMDD, and that I should see a doctor. She told me one of the ways to treat PMDD is to go on the pill yaz. I've researched the yaz pill.

Does anyone here have PMDD and use yaz?
I want to know if the symptoms of PMDD have reduced, and if you think you are better off without yaz, or with. And just your general all around opinion on using yaz with PMDD.

i'm a pmdd sufferer (was diagnosed 4 months ago) and i take yaz.

it saved my life (i was severely suicidal the week before my period). i was overly moody,irritable,weepy.

my bf broke up with me twice over this (we've been dating for 3 years) and my daughters (3 of them ) felt like they couldn't do anything right.

the yaz is great-i have no side effects and my pmdd symptoms disappeared almost completely (i have slight moodiness but hardly noticable compared to before).

just remember to take them!! i skipped this month b/c it costs about 50.00 and money was tight. worst mistake of my life-my symptoms returned and i drove my bf crazy the past 2 days!!
