Did anyone experience muscle aches while on depo?!

Question:

Did anyone experience muscle aches while on depo?

Hi! I went on Depo in Feb 2006 to basically stop my period. It took 6 mos to stop it while having the period for a whole 6mos straight. It finally stopped and well it sure is great not having one but....since I have been on depo last Feb I have basically just felt like crap. I had gall bladder surgery about 3 weeks after I started the depo and have though I just never healed right but now I am questioning the depo. I basically went through a year long depression that got so severe I finally sought help for and went on Wellbutin which was the worse thing ever in my life to take. But basically for the past year and a half I have felt like crap. I am tired and just miserable. Every muscle in my body hurts and right now one of my leg hurts so bad and has for 3 mos now I can barely stand for more then 15 min or so at a time and cant even make it through the grocery story without severe pain. My feet and hands fall asleep like crazy all the time and well basically every muscle in my body

aches. I have headaches every single day. I went to my doc for a physical and she basically did nothing except said this is bizarre. My leg hurts so bad and I have no energy and just want to feel good again. I gained 30 pounds on the depo which I hate and I am going back for my shot in 3 mos. Didd anyone else ever suffer muscle aches while on depo? Depression? Headaches? I think I could possibly have a sciatica problem also but as I said my doctor bascially ignored me when I was telling her about the pain I have.

Answers:

i was on the depo yrs ago for 2 yrs,i did experience muscle spasms in my legs,i also gained weight, your syptoms might not just be the depo, some of your symptoms describe fibromyagila, ive had it for 11 yrs.it make your whole body ache, your feet and hands tingle,it feels like a severe case of the flu 24/7 .theres noone tests for it,and alot of doctors do know to look for it,if they cant pinpoint what might be wrong ask them to check you for it. im not saying that what you have but look into it,go to www.fibromyalgia.com and check the symptoms...take care
