I don't know what to do?

okay my period has been really really short for the past couple of months...I normally have a seven day period but now I'm down to 3 days. I haven't had sex in 8 months and I don't know what to do? I've taken a pregnancy test and of course it said I wasn't pregnant. Is there something wrong or is my cycle just changing?

I'm not on birth control....and I don't have a gyno. I'm only 17.

This has been happening for a couple months now. My period just started getting shorter and shorter. and as I said before I'm down to three days...but I'm scared to say anything thing about it to my mom because automatically she'll think OMG SHE'S PREGNANT. and even if I tell her I'm not she'll still freak. so I don't know what to do.

your period maybe changing it happens, if your on the any birth control this could be the cause of your shorter periods. if your seriously concerned talk to your gyno to help you figure whats going on.


Since you don't have a gyno then I think you need to find one or talk to your regular doctor. As for your mom she might know what going on she is another woman and knows what you are going through. Sometimes we think that our parents are going to freak but at least they know something is up and can help you get the help you need. If your sexually active you should be seeing a gyno now and getting regular pap smear, also just try and tell your mom that you have something important to tell her and you need her not to freak out .
