Any doctors or nurses out there?

My period is due on Thursday and I could do without it... If I start taking the pill today will that stop it happening and delay it 4 weeks? Senisble answers ony please.

Answers:

If you are talking about starting the pill from scratch tonight it will probably fail, you are too late for the hormones to take control. If however you are already on the pill, if you run 2 packs together without a break that will work. It must only be done very occasionally however.
