Doctors under a vow of silence regarding birth control?!

Question:

Doctors under a vow of silence regarding birth control?

I was told by a friend, a girl, who got birth control that doctors were under a vow of silence regarding birth control or any other issues discussed. She claimed that the patient could request to have anything kept secret, and the doctor would have to. As in, they cannot tell anyone about it, no matter what. Is this true?

P.S. This is in Tucson, Arizona, if it is a local law or something

Answers:

Yes, it's the patient privacy. If a female was to come into a doctor's office and request BC, the doctor can not say anything to anyone else. It's the law...I live in Tucson,AZ as well.
