Has anyone ever gone to a urologist for a cystoscopy?
If so, can you tell me if it was painful during and after the procedure.I'm having one done in three days and i am very nervous about it.

First of all it is very important to go a very experienced urologist. A doctor like this will know how to keep you calm before, during and after the examination. The examination itself takes about 15 minutes. It is not painful. There may be a moment or 2 where you may feel a tiny bit of pressure and the doctor should make you aware at that time. When it is over you may have a slight burn the first time you urinate but nothing terrible and after that you will back to normal again.
