Time for breast reduction...?!

Question:

Time for breast reduction...?

I'm sixteen, I have 36 DD breasts and they are still growing; it has gotten to the point where barely any DD bras fit me anymore, and it's starting to become ridiculous. Besides the fact that they are too big for my body type, but they ache constantly, cause me to slouch, and my back hurts more and more every day.

And please, no comments with "don't do it". Especially by men, you don't have to live with them and for anybody to expect me to live like this so I can be eye-candy for other people is not only ridiculous but also is humorous.

I guess what I want to know is, do I really need a breast reduction; when do I know I need one? My mother is always bringing it up, and I'm seriously starting to consider it. Also, how much does it cost? What are the health risks, will I be able to nurse if I ever have a child (long ways off but still)? Anything else I should know?

is a pretty interesting and informative site. My friend had it done and she was ecstatic...no more hurting back/shoulders. Your doctor may not want to do it until you reach majority age but having it done before then will likely require one or both parents' signatures. You are ultimately the one to decide, not your mom or boyfriend, etc. It's your comfort and your body and you are the only one who can be sure if you are happy with it or want a change. You also might want to make sure that you don't need to wait until you have "maxed out" in breast size before you do it. Good luck!
