i don't know about telling your dad that you have your first period, but telling your mom really shouldn't be hard. she already knows about it, so if you tell her, she'll tell you what to do, what to expect, etc. just tell her you need to talk to her one on one, and explain that you see red stuff on your panties today and etc. good luck !
