My dct gave me the option of using nuvaring...i am currently on ortho try cyclen-lo...I just want to know what everyone thinks about it...

It's amazing! Pills make me nauseaus, which is why I switched to the ring. It's super easy, and the convenience of not having to worry about it for 3 weeks is way better than taking a pill every single day at the same time. It makes it more accurate because it releases a steady dose of hormones into your bloodstream. I set an alarm on my phone to remind me to put it in, and I've never had a problem. The only thing is...you have to put it up in yourself and pull it out, which isn't too big a deal if you're used to tampons. It sits like, an inch up, that's it. It's not that gross. You can't feel it during sex, it doesn't slide out, it's there until you don't want it to be there. I have NO side affects with the ring. It's more expensive, though, depending on insurance. Try Medco if it's available to you. Overall, great product. Try it and see if it works for you. Good luck.
