I feel like i'm fat?

i feel like i'm fat. my friend's have commented on how i'm so skinny but i'm not! i'm not anorexic or bulemic because i eat and i don't throw up. i don't eat as much as some people but i eat normally for my self. i've tried going on a diet but it doesn't work and i just get so tired that i can't sleep at night, stay awake during the day, focus or see right so i have to eat again. but i hate it! my thighs are flabby, my stomach is kinda puffy and i have the WORST love handles. exersize isn't working either. what do i do????? i want to be thin! (i'm 5' 8" and weigh 120 lbs if that helps)

If you are a 5'8' and weigh 120 lbs you are definitely NOT overweight. In fact, you are on the thin side, but you may not like the way that the little body fat you have is distributed. Sounds like it might be concentrated between your chest and upper thighs and nowhere else. If that's your genetic inheritance, you're going to have to make the best of it and learn to love your non-barbie doll shape through the mid-section by adorning it with flatteringly cut clothes. Develop your own style. Not everyone needs to wear low-cut pants and cropped belly-bearing tight tops. Please, change your eating habits. Tons of salad with balsamic vinegar, slightly steamed veggies, and fat-free broiled/boiled chicken and fish are not going to add any weight and you need the nutrients. You're growing. Please do not ruin your health by adopting a too drastic version of what perfect is. I'll bet you're gorgeous and you just don't see it.
