my friend is experiencing severe pain on her lower abdominal. what could be the cause? she cannot go to the doc now as she is out of town. but what could be the cause? please help me i am very worried.

if its on her right side it could be her appendix in which she would need to go the hospital rite away. but it could also be something else...
