Women only Please! How long is the average period?
I am almost 12 old and a few days ago I got my first period. There will be a 4th of July swim party @ my house and I am pretty sure you cant use pads in the pool (obvioulsly ) I am not comfortable using tampons yet so I am using pads. How long is the average period suppose to last?
The swim party is in 3 days and its my second day of having the period. Hopefully you guys will say about 5 days...If so , hopefully everything will turn out fine!

Average is about 5 days, but it can be anywhere from 3-8 days.
Don't use pads in a pool - not good! :) If you have to, try using a tampon. I know you're young, but it's not difficult and it's much more comfortable than a pad anyway!
