Birth control question missed period and now spotting?

I've been on Loestrin24fe for about 4 months now. I've never skipped a period while taking my sugar pills, but this month I did. I was supposed to have my period last week while off the pill for 4 days but I didn't now I'm back on it and I'm spotting? Is this just my body reactting to it?

I have had the same thing happen to me. While I haven't heard anything about Loestrin24Fe being dangerous, I have read in numerous places already that missing your period and irregular periods are kind of common on this pill. I have an appointment scheduled with my doctor, but reading that its happened to so many other women has made me stop worrying so much about being pregnant. Hope this helps!

ps.- the one good thing about this pill compared to Ortho-Tricylcin is that it has none of the mood swing side effects.
