Birth control and vomiting?

I take my birth control pill at 12:30 at night, and yesterday I woke up and vomited at 8:30 (I guess I should have eaten while taking it). Do you think the pill was absorbed by then? Should it be ok to have sex, or should I wait until the next pack?

Yeah, that's long enough for it to absorb into your body. You know you have to wait at least a week before having sex on the pill, right? It sounds like you do, but the way you worded your question made me a little suspicious.
