Yeast infection??

i am a swimmer and i have the symptoms of a yeast infection but i have had this for a couple of months now and still have the symptoms is there any way i can treat it without going to the doctor

Have you tried the over the counter medications?

I got lots of YIs after surgery years ago, kept treating it and it would recur. I had to go to my doctor who gave me a prescription but also told me that when I get the over the counter stuff to get the 7 day cremes, they work the best. Now when I have a problem that's what I get and it always works...it's been years now since I've had a YI.
