So...here it goes?????!

Question:

So...here it goes?????

Alright, back in the day I was an amazing athlete in track and cross country. I won several national and state titles in highschool (distance running). I got a full scholarship to a school that was one of the leading distance programs in the nation. Once I arrived I was hurt for awhile and then continued running back to normal...This is my question. So, after a few months of training (NOT OVERTRAINED) I continued to just get worse and worse as the months as years went on... I don't think you can lose talent?? Their has to be a reason why I just continued to get worse...worse meaning running minutes slower then my freshman year of highschool and here I am at one of the top programs in the country, everyone else got faster? Help me figure out factors so I can run good again???

To rule out possibilities you guys might think:
Not anemia
ate healthy (no under eating or over eating)
stayed a healthy weight (didn't gain weight or lose weight from previous years)
not overtrained

Answers:

well, now this only my opinion...maybe subconsciously, you lost interest in the sport...maybe you're more focused on other things while you run, or maybe the other girls have trained differently or maybe even harder...i dont think that you have lost talent, but maybe you just need to focus in on what you want to do...try meditating before you run also...ALSO...maybe you need to up your practicing/training from high school...ur up with da big dogs now...good luck, full speed ahead!
