Why is it when woman congregate in a group for an extended amount of time that thier periods tend to synchronize to eachother?..... but the better question is how does it happen? Does all the other womans menstrual cycles in line with one particular womans cycle ( like the more dominate cycle ) or do all the womans period merge into a gradual common middle sync point?

Can one pheromone be more dominate than others and thus making all the other woman align with her cycle? or do they all gradually meet in the common middle ground?
