Alittle worried... about my cycle?!

Question:

Alittle worried... about my cycle?

I recently had surgery and my doctor put me on antibotics. I have been on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo (birth control) for about four years now and I have never had any trouble. I know that antibotics kill the effect of birth control pills and I was fighting nausea so I stopped taking the pill anyway because I knew it had no effect. So I started my period. Only about five days early thanks goodness. Is this bad? I figured when I get off the antibotics in a week I will start a new pack of pills. Is this right? I need advice.

Answers:

Stopping birth control pills will signal your body to cycle. Discard any remaining pills in the discontinued pack. You will need to restart your birth control pills the same way you did initially, the first Sunday after your period starts. If your cycle starts on a Sunday, begin your new pack of pills that same day.
