How long do heavy periods usually last?
i have have a heavy period for three days now and i am wondering if it is almost over. Oh yah this is only me second period. and i am not on the pill and i dont want to be.

Your period can last from about 3 to 7 days and sometimes even a little longer. Everybody and every period is differnt,your heavy flow should end in the next couple days. Mine and my daughters periods change with seasons and interesting enough if your friends already get theres, you may all get them around the same time.Try not to stress about it cause that will also make the period change.
As for the pill I would hope you were not on it since this is only your second period. My daughter chose to go on the pill because of bad cramps, she would miss the first 2 days of school every month,But then she has had her period for 4 years.
