Odd Period?
My wife and I have just been through a stressful event (our wedding party), and her normal period did not come. However the day of the party and for 7 days afterwards she has had the following: spotting (bright red and brownish colours), approx. 1 full day of light bleeding, but the rest of the time just brownish discharge. We are trying to have a baby, but are not sure whats going on. Helpful information really needed. Thank you.

She probably just had a light period and that brown discharge is dried blood. All women get brown discharge at the end of their periods when it is coming to an end. You probably don't have anything to worry about but just to make sure since you did say that yall are trying to have a baby, might want to talk to her doctor or might want to ask women on here, that have actually experienced a misscarriage and see what they say their discharge was like.
