" Inflammatory smear with mild dysplasia" result for pap test. what is mild dyplasia & its impact,?

this is my mother's test report. how much it dangerous? is it any chance to turn to cancer. Docter prescribed for an operation. Is it completely cure after operation?

Mild dyplasia means that the cells are abnormal. They are precancerous meaning they are acting funny and heading down the road of possibly being cancerous. Surgery is curative for most women. The cure rate is pretty high. Make sure she gets follow up paps.
