Could I have been pregnant ?

I was 5 days late with my period, didn't stress out at all, finally happened yest and it was very heavy from the start.. and I have a really sharp pain in my back, startes in the middle and goes down, I have cramps as well... could I have possibly miscarried? Please help....

I have been feeling bloated for about 2 weeks ish now but I always do when I'm due on but this felt different...prob doesn't make any sense but it was a weird feeling and always in bed early as I'm so tired but I wouldn't have put it down to pregnancy and I don't want to waste my doctors time...
