Cryosurgery?!

Question:

Cryosurgery?

My doctor informed me I would experience watery discharge from my cryosurgery, when does this stop? Or at least lighten up? I had my surgery done on Wednesday (its Saturday now) And I feel like I'm peeing my pants everytime I bend, or stand up. I would call my doctor, but his late night and weekend line is only for emergencies, and I dont feel like this is an emergency. Also I know it isn't a urinary problem, because the liquid is definately not urine

Cryosurgery is when they freeze your cervix and sometimes the outer part of your uterus to kill the precancerous cells.

I have also had a LEEP (Where they "shave" the cells off) done, but it didn't get it all. And the displaysia spread into my uterus. This surgery has been a bit better for me, because there is less cramping afterwards. But I still hate this watery discharge.

Answers:

It may take up to a few weeks. Try to find pads with the "dry weave" top layer to help you feel more "fresh" When I had it done, I felt gross all the time, they helped a little. Also try the new pads that come with wipes. They are really convenient, especally when you are away fom home. Hope I helped you out some.
