My period is late, I've taken about 10 EPT tests that all come out negative?

My fiance and I had unprotected sex this past month. I know that this is a bad idea - it sourt of just happened though - we woke up in the middle of the night type thing. so he 'pulled out' instead. I know that the 'pre-***' is enough to get a girl pregnant though..

My period has been very irregular, so this month i was supposed to start taking birth control. I took the first 4 days of the pill and then stopped becuase it was making me feel very sick. Could this be why my period is 4 days late? ..

I've taken over 10 EPT tests. I've taken one every morning since the 27th (The day i was supposed to get my period)..and a few more throughout each day. Every test that i've taken comes out negative. The tests say that they're over 99% accurate.

Is there a good chance that I am NOT pregnant? How long should I wait before going to the doctor?

I should add..

My insurance dropped me since I turned 20. My mom is in the process of getting our whole family new insurance. Right now NOBODY in my family has health insurance ((We dont qualify or the monthly cost is too much becuase my moms husband makes too much money))..

I want to know how long i should wait before going to the doctors because I would have to pay at the doctors out of my pocket..

I went through this as well and I went to the dr and went do blood work and all because i was jsut freaking out. Soo this is what the dr told me when i went.

first off it sounds like your stressing about this whole issue. stress is a number one cause of making your period late so if you been worrying since the unprotected sex thing it could be a cause of this. second thing is if you keep thinking you are you will then develop false signs and symptoms of pregnancy. you will get the morning sickness and the sensativity to certain smells and yes the whole 9 yards. Even to the extent of feeling weird belly pains and all. Finally don't worry about the doctor issue, if you are pregnant sign up for medicaid and its free. I have never used it but 2 of my friends fell into a some what similar predicament. Just do yourself a favor and RELAX. Theres a possibility you will skip this month completely because your worrying about it. If you skip next month then Id say go see a Dr.
