I really want to lose 20 pounds. (details inside)?

I am 5 foot 1 and im 13. I am 133 lbs. My doctor says i am in the 90th percentile for my weight, which i don't really know what it means. I consider myself very athletic and muscular, but don't do any sports during the summer or winter. In fall, i do lose a good amount of weight because i do soccer 6 days a week on 2 teams. Is there any good exercises I can do over the summer that help me train up for the fall season? I was also a gymnast for about 7 years which is why i am so muscular.

Your doctor is an idiot. Sorry, but it's true. He didn't consider that muscle weighs more than fat, and since you are so athletic, that its why you weigh what you weigh. Even if you are in your 90th percentile (which means you are overweight), doesn't mean you're unhealthy. Yes, you are above the average weight of a 13 year old(which is considered overweight), but you are also involved in more physical activity than any 13 year old I know. When I was 12, I played soccer three days a week, and I was fit, so you must be fit! Being involved in so much exercise, and being so toned means that the only way that you'll lose 20lbs is if you lose muscle! You're perfect the way you are!
