What do you think?!

Question:

What do you think?

For some reason I keep getting a bacteria infection. I'm not having sex-still a virgin and I'm pretty good at taking care of myself. I have no other symptoms besides a yellow, thin, smelly discharge. It's like after I get one, I keep getting them like one triggers another. What do you think could be the reason for me getting them so much? What could be wrong?

Answers:

If you do good self care then my guess is that you are just more prone to getting infections. Often times when women get yeast or other bacterial infections that reoccurr it usually indicates that the infection was much worse or had a strong string of bacteria. It is also possible that even when clearing up the orignial string of bacteria that it also morphed into a new varied string which the antibiotic did not take care of. Most doctors will prescribe a strong prescription and also have you on it longer to make sure that all bacteria get's killed off. If your physician isn't doing this then maybe look for a new OB or talk to them about your frustration with reoccurrance. If what you have isn't bacteria but viral such as herpies then you need to be on a regular medication to help prevent outbreaks. (Vaginal herpies can be picked up from just about anywhere including public restrooms. )
