Embarrasing question about ....-I need answers?!

Question:

Embarrasing question about ....-I need answers?

I am 12 and I will be receiving a physical in a month or two.
I've had some sort of vaginal infection for over 2 years and I bleed from my rectum/urethra alot. Its soooo embarrasing...but im sure its from there, and its a good amount of blood.p.s. it doesnt hurt so its not anal fissure or anything. It's happened 2 times this week.[which is alot] usually its not even once a month. It seems like I've had my period once?[it lasted four days and it didnt come from the rectum/urethra =D.]
But that was almost 3 months ago. What should I do?I feel like I should mention this at my physical. What could this be?Is it worth being embarrased? Is this easily treated? My mother doesnt know. What would you do in this stuation?

Answers:

Holy moly chick. Of course you should tell your doctor! It may be embarrasing to you, but bleeding from either place is NEVER EVER EVER normal!

To prepare yourself, your doctor will want to know what color the blood is. Red blood or brownish blood makes a difference and will tell him/her where it's coming from. If it's red, the bleeding is coming from closer to the umm... openings... than brown/black. Brown and black can be more cause for worry because the bleeding is starting further up in your system somewhere - such as bleeding ulcers.

Regardless of color, you have to suck up the embarassment because it must be addressed by a professional rather than the Yahoo community.

Best of luck to you! I'm sure it'll turn out a-ok.
