Can birth control actually make acne worse?
I know it's supposed to make your acne better, but ever since I started using it ( about a month ago) my acne has just progressively gotten worse. It's not to horribly bad or anything, like it's been worse, but it's still really bad. Has birth control ever had this effect?? Or is it one of those things that gets worse before it gets better?

Everyone reacts differently to birth control pills because the hormones used are slightly different than the ones your body produces
That slight change may worsen your acne or make you nauseous or make you gain weight.
In your case, it's the acne.
Go talk to your doctor about it and see if there's another pill you can safely switch to.
Yaz is supposed to help with your acne a lot, it's the only FDA approved one, anyways.
But one pill doesn't work for everyone, so there's no guarantee that Yaz will be perfect for you.
