How to tell if I have a yeast infection..?

I have been having sex(unprotected) with my bf, whom I trust and adore. We've recently been having ALOT of rough sex, like four or five times a day for a four day period. Yesterday he pulled out of me and noticed that there was a chunky, whitish discharge on his penis. He thrust his finger in my face and demanded to know what it was, and since nothing like this has ever happened to me before(though i've heard of it happening to other girls) I said it looked like it could possibly be a yeast infection. I went home and took a good look at my vag-there was this nasty looking chunky, almost ricotta cheese-like discharge coming out. I freaked, and i've been checking myself all day long. Now it's just a thick milky discharge and it has no smell but i've been getting a slight itch. It looks like a YI to me, but i don't know, i've never had one before. My bf is furious with me since he went down on me(he thinks I should have known better) and I just want to make it go away. Help, please! :(

It might be a yeast infection. However, even if it is, I would still suggest seeing the doc since you have never had one before.

Also, if you are having unprotected sex you should be tested for std's.
