OK so i went to a gyn and i got a boy, i don't feel comfortable does anybody out there have a boy and tell me how to deal with this!

My gyn is a male. He is the best... professional, kind, polite and always keeps me informed of what he is doing and why.. even though i have had paps for years...
Mind you at first all i wanted to see was a female. But after a cancer scare a few years ago i have had many gyn's look at it. Doesn't bother me anymore as i feel that they are doctors there to do a job.. not a man to check you out.
If you feel uncomfortable change to a female doctor. or if none are around when you see your gyn take in a female friend or your mother. Or you can request a female nurse present (i did the first time i saw a male gyn). The can't say no to that at all. And if they do then walk away and find a more professional gyn
