Help...thyroid problems any doctors or ppl with thyroid?!

Question:

Help...thyroid problems any doctors or ppl with thyroid?

So I have hypothyroid and I was taking 185 mg and I went in to test so now I have to take 200 mg. My question is I took the pills like 5-10 minutes before I had the test. Was that enough time for it to get in my system? I kind of just woke up, drove to the doctors took my pills, waited while they did the paperwork, then had the blood drawn. Should I re-test? I have had a lot of hair fall out, will it grow back? Thyroid is a nightmare....i'm hunting for answers from people who have it or know about it. I researched online but I'd rather hear peoples own opinions.

if you are having trouble getting regulated and having a lot of symptoms you may want to look into changing meds...
for me armour works the best as it has both t4 and t3 in it....i also suffered from hair loss (and many other problems) , started with a tsh of 485 and ended up on 300 mcg of syntroid (to which i will never go back)

ck out www.stopthethyroidmadness.com and you can get a lot of info about thyroid problems and how people have managed to start feeling better.

each person is different and all treatments dont work the same for everyone...so get educated and find a dr willing to work with you to get better....it can be done......

take care
