Stomach pain and bleeding?

I was feeling fine all day, until about 3:00am. I woke up with really bad stomach pain. In 1 hour, I literally went to the bathroom 4 times. Every time, blood came out, and it hurts down there when i start to pee. I just started birth control pills. Is this a side effect of them, or should i go to the doctor??

It sounds like it could possibly be kidney infection. Anytime there is blood in the urine you need to see a doctor quickly.
