Assuming home remedies mean not going to the pharmacy, then go along to the supermarket and get natural yoghurt with acidophilus. I have heard that inserting this into your vagina is okay, but I have never recommended it to anyone, or used it myself. If you have acidophilus (pro-biotic) capsules at home, check the bottle - some are safe to insert into the vagina.
