Do you need aprescription to buy the morning after pill...?

or can you just buy it at a chemist's?

Answers:

Different countries have different regulations regarding to the emergency contraceptive pill/morning after pill. Here in New Zealand you can buy it over the counter (via a pharmacist) but it costs so much its cheaper to get an appointment at your doctor to get one. Make sure its within 72 hours of having unprotected sex. Before you go, figure out when your last period was, and how long, as these are questions the doctor/pharmacist will ask you.
