Can you take hydros before having a clit hood piercing?

I am going tonight to have it done so I was just curious if it would be dangerous in anyway to take about 20 min. before the piercing. I have a high pain tolerance but as you should know I am very nervous and excited. Please help.

I do not need to know your opinion on the piercing just the medical facts for taking the Hydros.

I had my done. If you have any kind of pain tolerance then you don't need to take anything. Its a sharp pain for the actual piercing and then after that there is not any pain. No tingling sensations like when you get your ears pierced, no swelling like your tongue. Plus, I've known people to actual climax when receiving the piercing.
