How do i know if i may have miscarried??
my period should have been on the 9th of this month or about then) and i missed it. so i bought one of those at home pregnancy test and it was positive...so i did like 4 more just to be sure...all but one were also positive. so Monday i called and set up an appointment with my gynecologist for next Thursday (7/05) but this morning o woke up with the worst cramps i've ever had in my life and i passed a blood clot that was like the size of a sliver dollar and i'm still having the really bad cramps so i called and i have to go to my gyno in the morning...do you think i may have had a miscarriage? if i did, i have no idea how to tell my boyfriend...he was so excited when i told him that i might be....please any suggestion??

It sounds like you might have miscarried if you were passing blood clots but that can only be confirmed by a doctor. If you did, I'm so sorry. It was very early on and luckily wasn't around month four or five like a friend of mine. This was something you couldn't control and if the idea of a baby was a welcome one you can start taking prenatal vitamins now in the off chance you'd like to try again in the future.
If you didn't miscarry then you are probably just spotting and that in some cases is normal.
As far as telling your boyfriend I would do it as soon as possible and would invite him to the appointment tomorrow, the support for both of you can make things easier if the news is bad.
