First of all, I dont need anyone criticizing my girlfriend and I for what we do at our age, if you are one of these people, please dont bother answering. OK, my girlfriend and I want to know if we need a guardian/parents to go to the doctor to maybe get a prescription for birth control pills. We are both 16.

nope you guys can go to plan parenthood together and talk over your options. remember she needs to take the pill everday at the same time i made that mistake and I got preg. and make sure if she ever gets sick and goes on antibiotics you use condoms for 3 weeks after she takes any antibiotics and for the first month use condoms so that her body can ajust to the pill. but they wil tell you all the same thing at plan parenthood and they will supply the pills for about 5-$12 a month and you can buy a few months worth from them at a time. and they will also gove you free condoms if you want them. good luck and you should be proud your both taking the steps not to get pregnant
