D&C three months ago and still bleeding is this normal?
I had a d&c for a recurrent miscarriage three months ago ..and i am still bleeding it seems that my pad has been my best friend after the procedure..my symptoms include being tired all the time and excessive anxiety what can it be......help!!!

Hi there. I feel for you...and experienced very similar occurrence following a D&C required after a molar pregnancy. My fiance was taking me on a trip months afterward to console me...and I was STILL bleeding. I never did find out the true cause...but I CAN tell you that my doctor was able to give me a pill that finally stopped it! I don't remember what it was--it was not birth control. After starting it, it was only a short timeframe before it stopped. Your GYN should be able to prescribe the same pill for you I would think...and the sooner the better. Bleeding for so long makes you feel very unfresh after awhile! You're in my thoughts. oh...and by the way, this may not be helpful, but years later, I found out that I'm anemic.
