You could start having your period soon. And it doesnt hurt. Only inserting the tampon for the first time may hurt a little. Start practicing using one know, but if you dont have a tampon to practice with , ask a friend. Also if you feel unconfortable asking a friend, you can stick a baby carrot up there, just to practice, thats what my friend did, lol, it looked kinda funny. If you are scared or dont know how to insert a tampon, ask a good friend to show you how. My best friend taught me how to. All my friend did was stuck it up there for me, and then showed me hers.
