Girls.. HELP!?

My cousins are coming soon. I love when they come and it's our favorite thing to swim together. Problem! I was counting the days and my period is going to start like right after they come. Is there any way to temporality stop it. If you're in the water alot doesn't it stop anyway? Should I go swimming or miss out on the best time of my life? And I can't use a tampon. Please please help!!!!

I'm not going to the ocean or lake. It's in a pool. Plus, I don't know how to use a tampon.

I know that this is a long answer but you HAVE to read it because it might help you alot!

Theres NO way to stop it from coming, and yes if you are in the water it will stop for a little bit, it wont bleed as much while your in the water, but if its a pool of water (like a public pool), sorry but you are gonna have to use a tampon because thats REALLY REALLY gross to be in water with your period and have nothing to catch it. unless you wanna stick a pad in your suit, that might work. I do that. it will blow up tho and might not stick to well, but thats what i do anyway. I dont like to use tampons either so i just use i pad, i dont really care if it blows up because i use swimming shorts over my suit bottoms! THATS WHAT YOU SHOULD DO!!! use a pad and put on some swimming shorts or just some regular soft shorts! GOOD LUCK!!! i hope this helped you!
